GYLA represented the interests of a former employee of the Batumi Municipality Sakrebulo, who was enrolled in the reserve of officials in 2017 and had not received salary by job position for several months. The Sakrebulo refused to pay him/her the unpaid salary, which created the need to appeal to the court.

In November 2018, the Batumi City Court upheld the claim and ordered the Sakrebulo to pay him 34,500 GEL. The defendant appealed the court decision to the courts of higher instance; however, the result was not changed, and the judgment of the Batumi City Court entered into legal force.
