With the help from lawyers in GYLA’s office in Kutaisi, two beneficiaries were relieved of administrative liability and released on warning. One beneficiary had been accused of illegally restricting public areas based on a protocol of violation prepared by a representative of Kutaisi City Hall’s Architecture and Supervision Service. Another beneficiary had been accused of defacement of appearance of a self-governing entity.

GYLA’s office in Adjara provided legal assistant to a citizen named I.Kh., who had received a refusal from the National Agency of Public Registry to recognize and register his rights to a land plot and a house, which he owned legally. GYLA’s lawyer helped the beneficiary with the problem and he was eventually able to register his property rights.

GYLA’s office in Adjara represented interests of T.Kh., who was systematically subjected by psychological and physical violence by her family member. With help from GYLA’s office in Adjara, T.Kh. filed in Batumi City Court for a protective order. The court granted her appeal and issued the order for the period of three months. The perpetrator (the victim’s father) was prohibited from calling the victim on her phone and being in a close proximity to areas where the victim was.
