According to the survey carried out by the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), most of the respondents apply to Georgian Young Lawyers' Association (GYLA) for free legal assistance. 66% of the respondents have heard about GYLA's free legal service, and 62% have referred to the GYLA for help.
In 2012, the UNDP survey showed the similar trend towards the GYLA – it was nominated more frequently than all other free legal aid services. As for today’s data, the rate of nominating the GYLA's legal aid service has increased by 18%.
