Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, to promptly adress the incident and take measures to prevent similar occurrences. Failure to do so serves that such behavior is encouraged by senior officials within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The head of the Special Investigation Service, Koka Katsitadze, to conduct an effective investigation into the facts of violence that occurred on the morning of May 13, 2024, since the improper response of this agency also plays an encouraging role in the serious rights violations committed by law enforcement officers.
