The Ministry of Interior Affairs continues the practice of violating the right to assembly and continues ill-treatment of peaceful demonstrators.

Representatives of the GYLA are monitoring the protest action around the Parliament, both on the field and through the media. The current demonstration throughout the day had a peaceful character and still remains peaceful.

Despite this, the police forces without any legal basis started to disperse the rally with violent methods, including violating the rules of using special means.

We would like to remind the Ministry of Interior Affairs that the response to incidents of a local nature should not have a significant impact on the course of the entire manifestation.

We call on the Ministry of Interior Affairs to stop violating the freedom of assembly and stop the illegal, degrading and violent practice of dispersing demonstrations. We urge the employees of the special forces unit not to carry out illegal orders and remind them that obeying an illegal order is a crime under the Criminal Code
