·       Goal of the project: The project aims to increase transparency and accountability of the justice system in Georgia by studying the potential misuse of criminal justice mechanisms for political persecution, particularly in the lead-up to the 2024 parliamentary elections. Through systematic monitoring and analysis of selected criminal cases, GYLA will document and expose any violations of human rights, judicial independence, and fair trial standards.
