Civil Society Platform “No to Phobia!” was established on May 7, 2014 and its goal is to ensure a close cooperation between non-governmental organizations to eliminate all forms of hate speech and discrimination in Georgian politics and media space.
The Platform has the following objectives:
a. To respond to hate speech by means of joint statements, declarations and other relevant mechanisms;
b. To support active political unions in Georgia in order to eliminate hate speech and discrimination, to create internal party mechanisms;
c. To develop media literacy;
d. To raise public awareness on the threats of hate speech and intolerance.
